I just came across a helpful article – “How to Block All Facebook Apps” – and I wanted to share it with y’all.
Apps are one of the reasons folks have such privacy issues with Facebook. I suggest turning off the platform that enables apps, unless you have a specific app that needs access to your info (for example, Groupon… or one of those annoying music ones… Spotify, anyone? Ugh).
Disabling the app platform means…
- Information and settings you’ve saved to apps and websites may be permanently deleted.
- Your friends won’t be able to interact and share with you using apps and websites.
- Instant personalization will also be turned off.
